Ex international Emmanuel Amunike has warned Watford winger Isaac Success to focus on football if he wants to live up to his potential.
Success made his full international debut for the Super Eagles in March, but his career has stalled somewhat since moving to Hertfordshire last summer and his only competitive appearance this season came in the Carabao Cup.
Walter Mazzarri was infuriated by Success’ lack of professionalism and off-field activities, and they have continued under Marco Silva – Success was front page news last month after reportedly demanding his money back from three prostitutes.
Reports suggest that the 21-year-old, who is currently sidelined with a knee injury, has given up alcohol as he looks to reignite his career and Amunike, who is currently the Nigeria U17 coach and was an assistant at that age group when Success featured for them, says the youngster needs to appreciate the impact his off-field activities will have on his game.
