Salami scores goal #9 In KuPS win

Nigerian striker, Fuad Gbolahan Salami netted his ninth goal of the season for Kuopion Palloseura (KuPS) in their 2-1 home win against JJK in the Finnish Veikkausliiga on Friday.

Finnish midfielder, Urho Nissila scored first three minutes into the game, Salami who came on for Ats Purje in the 69th minute, doubled the lead for the Yellow-Blacks in the 69th minute, while Gael Etock reduced the tally for the visitors on the stroke of 90 minutes as the game ended 2-1 in favour of the host.

Another Nigerian midfielder, Reuben Gabriel was in action for the entire duration in the all-important home win. KuPS currently occupy second position with 53 points from 32 games played so far in the current season.
