Super Eagles camp at the Ibom Le Meridian Hotel in Uyo comes alive with the influx arrival of Captain John Mikel Obi, Odion Jude Ighalo, William Troost-Ekong, Leon Balogun among other players presently in camp for Saturday’s crucial 2018 World Cup qualifier against the Chipolopolo of Zambia billed for the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
Other players in camp include, Leicester City trio of Ahmed Musa, Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho, Shehu Abdulahi, Oghenekaro Etebo, Israeli duo of Anthony Nwakaeme, home-based goalkeepers, Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Dele Ajiboye. Other two standby players Afeez Aremu and Ifeanyi Ifeanyi have also hit the camp.
This much was revealed via the Super Eagles official twitter handle in the early hours of Tuesday. “In camp (at 10pm Mon). Mikel, Echiejile, Ighalo, Ekong, Balogun, Musa, Shehu, Agu, Ndidi, Iheanacho, Ogu, Etebo, Nwakaeme, Ezenwa, Ajiboye. Two players on our stand by list – Afeez Aremu & Ifeanyi Ifeanyi are also in camp,” the statement reads on twitter.
