Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo netted a brace for his Chinese Super League club Changchun Yatai in their 3-2 win against Guizhou Hengfeng decided at the Guiyang Olympic Sports Center on Saturday.
Ighalo opened scoring for Changchun in the 50th minute, Rui Yu doubled the lead in the 82nd minute, Pengfei Han reduced the tally for the home team on the stroke of 90 minutes to make it 2-1.
Ighalo extended the lead to 3-1 on 91 minutes, while former Everton striker Nikica Jelavic made it 3-2 in the 96th minute for Guizhou. With the 3-2 win, Changchun moved to 10th position with 35 points.
