Zambia vice-captain Ziyo Tembo, has revealed that they are ready to rewrite history book by beating the Super Eagles in Saturday’s 2018 World Cup qualifier in Uyo.
The Chipolopolo are currently in Ghana for a two days training before jetting into Nigeria on Wednesday.
Nigeria are top of Group B with 10 points while Zambia are second with 7 points, of which a win for either team could determine their chances of winning the sole ticket for the mundial.
“Nigeria’s dominance over us is history for we are looking at the future and what will matter
most in the game is our application on the pitch.
We are not inferior to Nigeria, the only difference is that most of our players play in Africa and
theirs play in Europe,” he said.
