Barcelona push Herrera to reject Man Utd contract offer

Barcelona are maintaining serious interest in Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera.

Don Balon says Barca have set their sights on Manchester United midfielder Herrera.

The Catalan giants are said to consider the 28-year-old as the long-term replacement for 33-year-old Andreas Iniesta, who recently signed a new ‘lifetime contract’.

With Spain’s World Cup squad next year in mind, the former Athletic Bilbao may be tempted to find first-team football elsewhere in January. He comes off contract in June.

Herrera said, “I want to win titles and feel part of the team and feel important and I really do feel important because the manager makes me feel important.”
