Tottenham management expect Barcelona to make a bid for midfielder Dele Alli.

The Sunday Express says Barca are weighing up a bid for Alli after Neymar was sold for a world-record £198million to Paris Saint-Germain.

Alli is one of the names on the Barca shopping list for next season with the Neymar cash they deposited in their bank account last Thursday.

They have made no secret of their desire to sign a central midfielder before the summer transfer window closes and they have been keeping tabs on Alli for the last 12 months.

The England ace is well down the pecking order at White Hart Lane when it comes to wages and Barcelona have the financial muscle that Tottenham cannot match.

But the Londoners are also keen to prove they are no longer a selling club.
