CS Sfaxien Ready For US Monastir Clash – Sokari

By Augustine Akhilomen

CS Sfaxien midfielder, Kingsley Sokari will hope to begin the new season with his team on a winning note as they welcome
US Monastir in today’s (Wednesday) Lig 1 clash at the Stade Taïeb Mhiri.

The former Esperance star had a blissful performance for the club last season and is already playing a major role in the team’s qualification to the semi final of the CAF Confederations Cup.

In a chat with Soccernet.com.ng, Sokari revealed that CS Sfaxien’s ready to blow away US Monastir and pick the maximum point on home soil.

“We are ready for US Monastir considering the fact that we had a very good preseason in Saudi Arabia,” Sokari told Soccernet.com.ng in Tunis.

“It is our first league game so it is going to be a hard encounter.
However, that won’t stop us from picking the three points.

“It is a good thing for us to play at home because winning our first game at home will motivate us and make our fans count on us in the league.”
