Coutinho ready to Join Barcelona next season

Philippe Coutinho is prepared to stay with Liverpool- but only for this season.

The Mirror says Coutinho wants Liverpool to agree that he can join Barcelona next summer — if he stays at Anfield this season.

The Brazil playmaker will put aside his differences with manager Jurgen Klopp and Reds officials, remaining a fully committed member of the squad,if he is given assurances over a potential Nou Camp switch in 12 months’ time.

It is a repeat of the Luis Suarez transfer saga which ended with the Uruguay striker eventually securing a £70 million move from Liverpool to Barca.

Coutinho’s advisors plan to press the Reds into an agreement guaranteeing a La Liga move for their client next year.
