Barcelona abandon Coutinho pursuit to focus on Di Maria

Barcelona are pulling back from their pursuit of Liverpool ace Philippe Coutinho.

El Mundo Deportivo says Barcelona’s chances of signing the Brazilian are now fast diminishing.

The report suggests Barcelona are close to giving up on Coutinho and have other targets in mind.

In addition to PSG winger Angel Di Maria, Barcelona are also keen on Jean Seri.

Seri, who has been tracked by both Arsenal and Liverpool, has a €40 million (£36.5million) release clause in his Nice contract.
