Victor Moses stars as Chelsea win big

Nigeria international, Victor Moses picked up from where he finished the last season with Chelsea as he was in the thick of things when the Premier League champions got their pre-season preparations off to a flying start with an 8-2 annihilation of Championship side, Fulham on Saturday.

Moses got a starting role as Chelsea rained goals in their first preseason game.

Brazilian, Willian set the tone for the day scoring two quick goals before Fulham pulled a goal back when Cesar Azpilicueta diverted the ball past goalkeeper Willy Caballero from inside the six-yard box.

Batshuayi fired home to make it 3-1 and then bagged his second after racing clear of the defence to slot the ball past Button.

Willian completed his hat-trick just before the break with a thunderous drive.

Fulham scored the second from the penalty spot through Stefan Johansen in the 55th minute but Chelsea made it 6-2 when Kenedy beat his man down the left and set up Loic Remy who passed the ball into the unguarded net.

Chelsea scored their seventh from the penalty spot through Azpilicueta before Loic Remy capped an impressive run-out with another penalty after the striker was brought down by Button inside the box.

Another Nigerian, Sone Aluko was part of the match but he was on the losing side.
