Former Barcelona defender Eric Abidal is backing their move for PSG midfielder Marco Verratti.
The Italy international has been linked with a €100m move to Barca, though PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi is adamant he is not for sale.
Abidal is convinced Verratti would lift the quality of his former team.
He told Cadena Cope: “Verratti can become a key player for Barça, and we always have to fight to attract the big players.”
Abidal played with Barca for six years between 2007 and 2013.
