‘Neymar will stay’

Barcelona sporting vice-president Jordi Mestre insists there’s no concern over the future of Neymar.

He said that reports of PSG being willing to meet the player’s release clause did not worry him.

“He will stay [at Barcelona],” Mestre insisted when asked about the player during Pep Segura’s presentation as the sporting department’s new boss.

“It’s 200 percent.

“I have read that [PSG] themselves have categorically denied it.”
