Neymar could be a PSG player by Wednesday

Reports in Mirror claim that Paris Saint German are gearing up to complete their world-record move for Neymar by Wednesday after preparing to double the current transfer record and pay the Brazilian’s £200million release clause.

PSG are reportedly said to make their bid official on either Monday or Tuesday before closing the deal by the middle of the week. Currnently, Neymar is in the United States as Barcelona prepare to clash with Juventus in a Friendly match.

Neymar has initially revealed to his teammates that he will love to leave the club for PSG but Barcelona manager, Ernesto Valverde still wants the player in his team. In his words:

“This is a time of rumours and we understand that’s how it is,”said the manager. But he’s with us right now and we want absolutely for him to stay here.

“I’ve spoken to Neymar but we just talked about tactics and other stuff. He’s a player we love and we want him. Not only football wise but also the things that he brings to the team in the locker room.

“So basically going back to that rumour. That’s all it is.”
