Tottenham targets Nigerian forward

English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur are said to be interested in purchasing the services of Gent forward Moses Simon.

According website Voetbal24, the Premier League side are willing to match the 20m Euros asking price of Gent. Sources close to the player has however said a bid has not yet been launched. The forward is however much loved by EPL side as newly promoted side, Brighton have made an offer for him.

The EPL newcomers however had their bid rejected by Gent as it fell short of their valuation of the 22-year-old who has been at the club for two and half seasons in Belgium.

A fee of around €13m is said to be what Gent are hoping for despite their public declaration that their prized asset won’t be sold for anything less than €20m.
