Zinedine Zidane and Real Madrid president Florentine Perez are reportedly at loggerheads over who should be the club’s marquee signing this summer.
Los Blancos are expected to splash the cash on at least one big-money acquisition in the coming transfer window. But Don Balon claim the two men have different ideas as to who the club should invest in.
Their report says Zidane wants Eden Hazard from Chelsea to be the next world star to walk through the doors at the Bernebeu.
Apparently the French manager likes the option of a top player who’s already repeatedly proven himself at the highest level. But Perez is thought to have his eye on another wide man.
Don Balon add that the president knows Real can.only sign one marquee player for next season. And Perez reportedly would rather Los Blancos made a move for Monaco star Kylian Mbappe.
Although Zidane has reservations about his signing a player that will likely cost around £100m, despite only having played one season in a top competition.
