PSG move to sign Nigerian midfielder

Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly interested in acquiring the services of Gent and Super Eagles midfielder Anderson Esiti in the coming summer transfer window.

Blogvisaodemercado.pt reports that PSG new sporting director Antero Henrique has penciled down the Nigerian international as part of his reinforcementplans for the Parisians’ midfield.

With Thiago Motta turning 35 in August and GrzegorzKrychowiak’s below par performance last season, theFrench club need a defensive midfielder and the arrival Esiti could prove very vital.

Henrique has reportedly opened talks with the representative of Esiti, Paul Onamomo with a view to a transfer, according to Goal but the report says the challenge in PSG’s pursuit of Esiti is that there is a gap in the player’s valuation, with Gent holding out fora fee of 20 million euros (N8 billion).
