Barcelona are prepared to make Marco Verratti their record signing this summer.
The PSG midfielder’s agent Donati di Campli has intimated the Italian wants to leave after meeting with new sports director Antero Henrique.
Gazzetta dello Sport says new Barca coach Ernesto Valverde has requested Verratti’s signing after talkswith football chief Robert Fernandez.
Barca see Verratti as an eventual successor for Andres Iniesta.
The Catalans are prepared to pay €100 million for the midfielder, who will also be tabled a contract offer €10 million-a-year.
For their part,PSG insisted just yesterday that Verratti was not for sale.
