No West Ham move for Iheanacho

Reports on Friday suggesting that Kelechi Iheancho is on course for a move to West Ham with a medical already being planned has been found out to be false.

Investigations have revealed that the sensational transfer report was published by a fake Skysports Twitter account.

The report had claimed Iheanacho is set to join West Ham from Manchester City on a permanent deal for arecord-breaking fee of 24 million pounds.

It also said the striker will undergo a medical to finalise the transfer.

At the moment, Iheanacho is on national assignment with the Super Eagles; scoring in the friendly game against Corsica and he is getting ready for another game this time in Pars against the Hawks of Togo.

Indeed, Iheancho has been linked with several clubs in recent weeks and while it is believed that the forward is close to the exit doors from the Etihad Stadium, his next destination remains a mystery for now
