Kayode on target as Wien settle for draw

Super Eagles striker, Olanrewaju ‘Larry’ Kayode registered his 14th goal of the season for FK Austria Wien in their 1-1 draw against SC Rheindorf Altach in the Austrian Bundesliga away tie on Sunday.

Austrian midfielder, Nikola Dovedan scored first for Altach in the 24th minute, while Kayode equalized for the Violets in the 39th minute to end the game 1-1 at regulation time.

As the game was almost rounding off, Kayode later paved way for Austrian forward, Kevin Friesenbichler in the 89th minute, winning the hearts of the club’s fans for the crucial goal he scored in the away encounter.

With the 1-1 result, Austria Wien continue to trail Salzburg in second position with 12 points difference, having 57 points from 32 round of matches played in the current Austrian Bundesliga season.
