Can Barcelona still win the La Liga?

Can Barcelona win the Spanish La Liga this season? It’s possible, but there’s a big chance we’ll have to wait till the final day to know, as fellow title contender Real Madrid continue their race for a double.
With both teams on 84 points, Real Madrid still have the advantage with Los Blancos having a game in hand over their rivals.

It’s easy to say that the title this season hinges on Real’s game against Sevilla, being the only though game left in their fixtures for the season. After Sevilla, the Zidane led side will face 11th-placed Celia Vigo and then confront Malaga on the final day.

For Barcelona, it should be a breeze when they face 14th-placed Las Palmas before hosting Eibar on the last day. It would be a huge shock if Barca come out of these two games with anything less than six points, but that’s not to say it isn’t possible as a lot of betting sites will agree.

Despite dominating again, Barca and Real haven’t had it their way this season. It would be foolish to suggest both sides will win their remaining games, but it would also be difficult to bet against that from happening.

If both sides are on the same points after all the games, it will come down to their head-to-head. And in that case, the title would go to Barcelona having drawn 1-1 with Real at the Nou Camp before winning 3-2 at the Bernabeu in the exciting Clasico match.

The last time the league was decided by head-to-head was the 2006-07 season. A 2-0 win for Real at the Bernabeu, followed by a 3-3 draw at the Camp Nou, helped them beat Barca to the title after both finished on 76 points.

So, can Barca win the tittle, yes, only if they win all their games and hope Real lose or draw a couple.
