CAF, NFF Laud Victorious Moses

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) and Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have congratulated Super Eagles attacker, Victor Moses, for his role in English Premier League triumph with Chelsea last Sunday.

Moses, who was given a place back in Chelsea by the coming of new coach, Antonio Conte was a prominent player in the Chelsea side that won the EPL after the 5-1 routing of Sunderland on the final day.

Moses, who had failed to tie down a place in the Roman Army – which prompted his loan moves to Liverpool, Stoke City and West Ham United, repaid Antonio Conte’s faith in him with impressive showings this season.

The 26-year-old got three goals in 34 appearances for the Blues as they marched to their sixth English topflight conquest plus a place in the FA Cup where they battle cross-city rivals, Arsenal.

Moses has however missed the Super Eagles last friendly match against Senegal in London, due to injury, and was left out by Coach Gernot Rohr in his Super Eagles list that is expected to face the national team of Corsica and Togo in France on May 26 and June 1 respectively.

The Super Eagles strong man is however expected to return when the Super Eagles list will be released next week for the all important AFCON 2019 qualifying match against South Africa in Uyo on June 10.
