Barcelona join race to sign former Real Madrid midfielder

Barcelona has joined the race to sign former Real Madrid player, Angel Di Maria from PSG for a massive fee of €50 million when the window transfer opens.

The former Real Madrid player has been linked to the Camp Nou giants, Di Maria wants to unite with his fellow Argentine teammates Lionel Messi and Javier Mascherano.

He’s already been rumoured to have sent his representatives to the Catalan club in the past few weeks.

The Argentine isn’t happy about a recent raid from the French tax police, as part of a sting in which he’s accused of having hidden over €5 million in tax havens.Inter were recently reported to be ahead of everyone in the sweepstakes: the Corriere Dello Sport claiming that the Nerazzurri have offered PSG €50 million.

The 29-year-old’s current salary is huge, €7 million a year. Di Maria started the season badly but recoveredto score 15 goals and make 8 assists in all competitions.
