Odemwingie Joins Madura, To Wear Jersy No. 24

Peter Odemwingie has joined Indonesia topflight side, Madura United and was unveiled on Monday afternoon.

The
Nigeria international who had featured for La Louvière, Lille,
Lokomotiv Moscow, West Bromwich Albion, Cardiff City, Stoke City,
Bristol City and Rotherham United was signed to help Gomes de Olivera’s
navigate League 1.

He was unveiled to the public on Monday afternoon in Jakarta.

Madura United’s boss Haruna Soemitro during the ceremony expressed his delight with the Nigerian’s capture.

Odewingie will wear jersey no. 24 during his spell with the Gelora Ratu Pamelingan Stadium giants.
