Super Eagles playmaker, Alex Iwobi has revealed that he will like Chelsea star, N’Golo Kante to join him at Arsenal after he voted for the Frenchman to win the PFA Player of the Year in England.
Kante joined the Blues from outgoing premier league champions, Leicester City and has been phenomenal thus far at Stamford Bridge.
He deservedly picked up the PFA award ahead of teammate, Eden Hazard, Harry Kane (Tottenham), Romelu Lukaku (Everton), Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Manchester United) and Alexis Sanchez (Arsenal).
“He’s someone that works for the team and even though he’s a Chelsea player, you have to respect what he does,” Iwobi began. “He works for the team and just runs non-stop — he’s got something every player would like to have.
“Every player would like to have him in their team,” the Nigeria international continued. “The engine, the energy he brings, the enthusiasm — he is my player of the season.”
Interestingly, Iwobi will come up against N’Golo Kante in the final of the FA Cup when Arsenal and Chelsea clash at Wembley on May 27.
