Super Eagles defender Efe Ambrose have been rewarded with the Player of the Month Award for March following his impressive displays for Scottish Championship side Hibernians, whom he joined on loan till the end of the season from Celtic.
Already, the former Ashdod of Isreal defender has earned the praise of Hibernian coach Neil Lennon, who has described him as an excellent piece of business, while also describing the player as “a class act”.

Lennon, who signed Ambrose for Celtic from Israeli side FC Ashdod also said the Nigerian has proved he is still a top notch defender in the five games he has played for the leaders since he arrived in February.
“I think this has been good for both parties, I think it’s been excellent for Efe to get his profile back in the right manner, a positive manner – and show Scotland, Britain, Europe and the people back home in Nigeria what a class act he is,” the Hibernian manager remarked.
“He really enjoyed the moment and he has been a great piece of business for us.”
The 28-yearold could also be crowned champion of the Scottish Championship tomorrow depending on results of games decided.
