Ahead of Osun United and Delta Force cracker, Yomi Olaoke talks tough

Akanni Seyi
Osun United play host to Delta Force of Asaba tomorrow, 2nd of April, in the Nigeria National League week four contest at Osogbo city township stadium.

Osun United Gaffer, Duke Udi, shall aim for victory and at the same time put the defeat in Ogbomoso on Sunday behind him, where his team performed creditably well, but goals refused to come their way. Crown FC sent Osun United back home empty handed via Gbemi Emmanuel spot kick in 12th minute of the duel.

The home team will once again attempt to consolidate on their fine performance to claim the maximum available points on Sunday. ‘Believe and Achieve’ side defeated Bendel Insurance FC two goals to nothing at home to have 3points so far this season, having lost to both Bayelsa United and Crown FC on the road.

Delta Force have enjoyed 100% winning record in the current NNL season, they have won their first three games and jointly seated with Bayelsa United at the top of the log with 9points.

In his chat with soccernet.com.ng, Delta Force finisher, Yomi Olaoke, who has equally registered his name on the score sheet this term, is confident ahead of tomorrow’s cracker.

“We are going to make a bold statement in this season, we have strategies to finish the job in Osogbo. With God on our side, we shall achieve our target.

” Team work is the hallmark of our achievements so far, going by our record, we are not going to park the bus tomorrow but we shall take the fight to our host.

” We lost to bad officiating in Osogbo last season, 90minute will judge our performance tomorrow,” The former defunct Sharks FC concluded.
