Super Eagles forward, Kelechi Iheanacho could be giving the chance to further prove his mettle as Manchester City host Huddersfield in Wednesday’s FA Cup replay match at the Etihad Stadium.
A fortnight ago, both teams failed to break the deadlock as Huddersfield held Man City to a goalless draw despite the visitors controlling 70% of the ball possession.
The Nigerian international has been limited to playing on the bench due to the arrival of injured Gabriel Jesus. However, with the Brazilian sidelined for two months, Iheanacho could be giving the nod to start in today’s encounter.
It is expected that Huddersfield would be depending on mother-luck to snatch an uncommon result against a Pep Guardiola’s team that will be desperate to march forward in the cup tie.
