Oshoala Joins Chinese Women’s League Club, Dalian Quanjian

Reigning African Women footballer of the year,  Assisat Oshoala has joined Chinese Women’s Super League side, Dalian Quanjian Women from London club, Arsenal Ladies, the club announced on Friday.

According to reports, the the Super Falcons forward completed the move alongside Cameroon star, Gaelle Enganamouit after impressing the Chinese club in training.

Oshoala joined Arsenal Ladies from Liverpool Ladies in January 2016, and helped them win the Women’s FA Cup title in her first season at the club.

The 22-year-old star emerged the highest goal scorer (6 goals) at the 2016 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations (AWCON) helping the Super Falcons to win their record eighth AWCON title after beating hosts Cameroon in final.

Meanwhile, Oshoala joined Nigeria’s stars like Obafemi Martins, John Obi Mikel, Odion Jude Ighalo, Anthony Ujah, John Owoeri and hosts of others that have moved to the Chinese League.
