Super Eagles forward Victor Moses has described England international and former Chelsea teammate Frank Lampard as one of the best players he has come across, adding that it was privilege to have played with him.
The Nigerian international who is likely to come face to face with compatriot Alex Iwobi when Chelsea take on Arsenal in Saturday premier league clash, wished Lampard who few days back announced his retirement from football a splendid time in his post retirement efforts.
“Would like to wish Lamps all the best with his retirement. It was a privilege to play alongside him and an honour to call him a teammate,” he enthused.
Lampard celebrated his retirement on Thursday with a birthday meal for his wife.
The Chelsea legend has called time on his career having considered his options after leaving New York City at the end of the MLS season and enjoyed his first day of retirement as he and the family got together for the birthday of wife Christine.
The 38-year-old won every major club honour during histime at Stamford Bridge and also played for West Ham and Manchester City in the Premier League, and garnished his achievement with 100 appearances for Three Lions while scoring a record 300 career goals.
