Ikeme, Moses In FA Cup Battle

By Augustine Akhilomen

Super Eagles duo of Carl Ikeme and Victor Moses will be at loggerheads as Chelsea visit Wolverhampton Wanderers in Saturday’s fifth round of the English FA Cup at the Molineux Stadium.

Ikeme was not in the team when Wolves shocked Liverpool 2-1 at Anfield in the fourth round, however, he will be hoping to regain his starting shirt as they confront Premier League leaders, Chelsea.

While Ikeme could probably be in goal for the host, he will have so much to handle against a Blues team that is blessed with attacking firepowers that also includes Nigerian international, Victor Moses.

Both players will be seeking to qualify to the quarter final stages of one of the oldest competitions in England, with the hope of winning a silverware at the end of the season.
