Ighalo completes move to Changchun Yatai

Nigerian international Odion Ighalo has completed a move to Chinese club Changchun Yatai in a reported £20 million fee.

Ighalo who previously turned down a £300,00-a-week move to China last summer has scored 39 goals in 100 appearances since joining Watford from Granada in 2014.

A statement by his now former club, Watford reads  “The Hornets can confirm that Odion Ighalo has agreed a permanent move to Changchun Yatai…. All at Watford FC thank Odion for his contributions to the club, and wish him the best of luck for his future career.”

Ighalo now joins other compatriots like Obafemi Martins and John Obi Mikel who recently moved to China.
