Rangers, Rivers United, Wikki, Ifeanyi Ubah get CAFCL, CAFCC opponents

Four Nigerian representatives in the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup Nigerian Rangers International, Rivers United, Wikki Tourists and FC Ifeanyi Ubah have been handed tough oppositions in the continental competitions, according to the draws held on Wednesday in Cairo, Egypt.

Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) champions, Rangers International will face Algerian club JS Saoura in the round 32 of the CAF Champions League, while Rivers United will battle Malian side, AS Real Bamako in the preliminary round of the same competition.

Two other Nigerian representatives in the CAF Confederation Cup Wikki Tourists of Bauchi and Federation Cup winner, FC Ifeanyi Ubah will trade tackle with Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces FC and Al-Masry SC respectively.

Meanwhile, Rangers won the league, Rivers United finished as runner-up, while Wikki Tourists completed the season as third best club in the NPFL season.
