Iheanacho Leads Man City’s Onslaught Against Musa’s Leicester City

By Augustine Akhilomen

Super Eagles duo of Kelechi Iheanacho and Ahmed Musa will come at loggerhead as Manchester City face Leicester City in Saturday’s Premier League match at the King Power Stadium.

Coming from the back of a 5-0 lose against Porto in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, the Foxes, who are starring relegation after losing 2-1 to Sunderland last weekend, will need extra motivation to overcome a Manchester City side that got pummelled 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium by EPL league leaders, Chelsea last Saturday.

In the absence of City’s top scorer, Sergio Aguero, who was handed a four-match ban by the FA for his malicious tackle on Chelsea’s David Luiz, the Citizens will be banking on the Iheanacho to fire the goals that will restore confidence back to the team.

The Nigerian international was the hero of the night as his solitary goal earned  Manchester City a vital point against Celtic in the Champions League and City manager, Pep Guardiola will be hoping that Iheanacho fill the void left behind by Aguero.

Meanwhile Ahmed Musa would be hoping to steal the show from his Nigerian compatriot as he would desperate to return to his goal scoring form with Leicester City.

Musa has managed to score two goals for the Foxes and his pace and trickery could give the Manchester City defence a big nightmare.
