Genort Rohr visits Ikeme in England

Super Eagles technical adviser, Gernot Rohr paid Nigeria’s first choice goalkeeper, Carl Ikeme a surprise visit at his English Championship club, Wolverhampton Wanderers on Wednesday.

Ikeme missed Super Eagles 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against the Desert Foxes of Algeria last month in Uyo due to injury, the game Nigeria won 3-1 to consolidate their position as group leader.

The 30-year-old goalkeeper latest tweet revealed Rohr’s visit. “Great evening and was good to get a visit from Nigeria Coach last night over dinner in Wolverhampton,” Ikeme wrote on twitter.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian goalkeeper resumed full action with Wolves last Thursday in their 2-1 win against Qeens Park Rangers before making way for Andy Lonergan in the 83rd minute.
