Former Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh will resume his role as the new manager of Dutch second division club, Fortuna Sittard on January 2nd 2017 after he was announced by the club management on Tuesday.
Oliseh who left his position as the Technical adviser of the Super Eagles on a mutual agreement with the Nigeria Football Federation, signed an 18-month contract with the Dutch side with an option to extend it for another season.
The club owner, Isitan Gün,revealed that he was excited with Oliseh’s arrival.
“With Sunday Oliseh we signed a young and ambitious coach with vision, one players look up to,” Gün said.
“We were looking for someone who plays attractive football combining it with the will to win. We think Sunday is the right one for this job,” Gun added.
The former Juventus and Borussia Dortmund midfield maestro has had stint with Ajax from 1997 to 1999 where he won the Eredivisie 1997–98 and KNVB Cup in 1997–98, 1998–99.
