Egbuchulam Sets For Etoile Switch

Enugu Rangers star, Chisom Egbuchulam is close to sealing a move to Tunisian side Etoile du Sahel after a sensational league season that culminated in a league title for his club.

This was confirmed by a close club source, who said: “Chisom has left for Tunisia to undergo a medical with Etoile du Sahel. The two clubs are now discussing a transfer fee for the player. Etoile want to pay $150,000, but Rangers now want $250,000 after they first demanded for $500,000,” the source added.

Egbuchulam, who scored 16 goals last season as Rangers won the league, will not be the only Nigerian league star joining Etoile after they raided the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) this month with league hotshot Godwin Obaje and Ibrahim Alhassan ‘Muazam’ having already done with medicals at the Tunisian champions.
