23 Players in Barcelona squad to face Al Ahli

As part of an agreement between Barça and their official shirt sponsor Qatar Airways, FC Barcelona will play a friendly game against Saudi Arabian club Al Ahli in Doha, Qatar on Tuesday, 13 December 2016.

Despite the game being just a few days before Barça take on Espanyol, Luis Enrique has included a lot of key players in his 23-man squad for the game, featuring all available 21 first team players and two from the junior category, this is because it was stipulated in the clause that these key first team players should not be left out of the team.

Defender Jeremy Mathieu is the only absentee as he is still not passed fit to feature, Jordi Masip is likely to start and Aleix Vidal also made the squad list. The two B team players are Borja López and Carles Aleña while Neymar also returns.

Goalkeepers: Marc André Ter Stegen, Jasper Cillessen, Jordi Masip;
Defenders: Sergi Roberto, Aleix Vidal, Gerard Piqué, Samuel Umtiti, Javier Mascherano, Borja López, Lucas Digne, Jordi Alba;
Midfielders: Ivan Rakitic, Carles Aleña, Rafinha Alcántara, Denis Suárez, André Gomes, Sergio Busquets, Arda Turan, Andres Iniesta;
Forwards: Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez, Neymar, Paco Alcácer.
