Barça announce squad to face Osasuna |
FC Barcelona hope to return to winning ways in the league as they travel to Pamplona to play against La Liga returnees Osasuna in their 15th league game of the season.
After playing out two consecutive league draws, Barça put up a great performance to beat Borussia Mönchengladbach 4-0 in their final UEFA Champions League game of the group stage, Luis Enrique will be hoping his side replicate such form on Saturday afternoon and have named 18 Players to travel.
One of the shock absentee is Aleix Vidal, the right-back was one of the top performers on Tuesday night but Luis Enrique has decided to leave him out of the squad for technical reasons, he misses out along with Jordi Masip. Jeremy Mathieu also is out of the game as he is still sidelined through injury while Neymar is suspended for the game which means Arda Turan is set to take his place at LW.
The likes of Gerard Piqué, Sergio Busquets and Marc Andre Ter Stegen all return to the squad after being rested for Barcelona’s Champions League game.
