WCQ: Nigeria Embassy delays Algerian player VISA

Na Hussein Dey midfielder Sofiane Bendebka will not travel with the Algerian squad to Uyo as things stand because he has not been issued a visa by the Embassy of Nigeria in Algiers.

Bendebka has been handed a late call-up to the Desert Foxes as a result of the uncertainty surrounding the availability of Napoli star Faouzi Ghoulam, who is struggling to overcome a groin injury.

Ghoulam was absent at the penultimate training session held at Sidi Moussa on Wednesday.

If the Algerian Football Federation fail in their attempt to get him the traveling document, he will have no choice but to return to his club.
