Super Eagles legend, Austin Jay Jay Okocha said there was nothing personal in the goal he scored against former Germany goalkeeper and captain, Oliver Kahn in his playing days with Eintracht Frankfurt in the German Bundesliga.
Okocha, who recently paid a visit to the club recalled how his career started with the German club, before leaving to play for clubs like Paris Saint Germain (PSG), Fenerbahce of Turkey, Bolton Wanderers of England, among others.
On his return to the club after his illustrious football career, Okocha wrote on twitter. “It’s great to be back in my 2nd home, my career began here. The goal against @OliverKahn was nothing personal,” he said.
Okocha played for Frankfurt between 1992 and 96, and played his last club football in the 2007/08 season for English club, Hull City. He retired from the Super Eagles in 2006 and had 14 goals in his 75 caps for Nigeria.
