Ogunbote confirmed as new Enyimba Head Coach

Veteran coach, Gbenga Ogunbote has been confirmed as the new head
coach of former Nigeria Professional Football League(NPFL), the club
announced on Thursday.

Ogunbote replaced Paul Aigbogun who had a disappointing season with
the Peoples Elephants, as the club finished in distance 12th position.
According to statement released on the club’s website on Thursday, the
Aba club have concluded all contractual terms to sign the coach.

“We are glad to announce that Gbenga Ogunbote has joined us ahead of
the new season,” the club wrote on its official Twitter handle. Ogunbote
has coached clubs like Gateway, Sunshine, Sharks, Giwa Fc among others.

Meanwhile, Ogunbote was in charge at Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC)
last season, helping the  Oluyole Warlords to avoid relegation at the
end of the season.
