NPFL Super Four Holds December 7 – LMC

The customary pre-season tournament known as the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Super Four has been scheduled for December 7-11 in Enugu according to the League Management Company (LMC).

League champions Enugu Rangers, runners-up Rivers United, third-placed team Wikki Tourists, the fourth-placed side and Federation Cup champions FC IfeanyiUbah will participate in the tournament aimed at preparing the teams for continental assignment.

Rangers and Rivers United will be representing Nigeria at next year’s CAF Champions league while Wikki Tourists and FC IfeanyiUbah will feature in the CAF Confederations Cup.

On the choice of Enugu as venue for the tournament, League Management Company (LMC) Chairman, Shehu Dikko, said: “We are excited that the Enugu State Government has agreed to host the tournament because the people of Enugu State are true football fans.”
