Onazi to take Lazio to FIFA over unpaid salaries

Super Eagles midfielder Ogenyi Onazi is on the verge of taking his former club SS Lazio of Italy to FIFA according to a close source due to inability of the Italian Serie A side to pay his outstanding salaries.

The source said: “Onazi is taking Lazio to FIFA over unpaid salary.”

He is not happy with them and has contacted Lazio over the issue but it seems they are not ready to pay. He served them letter to this effect already.”

Onazi, who recently moved from Lazio to Turkish club Trabzonspor in the summer, is being owed May and June salaries by the Italian club.
