Official: Odemwingie joins Rotherham United

Former Super Eagles forward, Peter Osaze Odemwingie has completed a short-term move to Rotherham United FC until January 2017, subject to FA and EFL ratification.

Odemwingie, who was a free agent, becomes new boss Kenny Jackett’s first signing after the Nigerian international penned a deal this evening at AESSEAL New York Stadium.The experienced front man boasts an impressive CV after playing in the Premier League for the likes of West Bromwich Albion and Stoke City respectively.

His career has also seen him take in spells with Lille and Lokomotive Moscow. He played, and scored, against the Millers last season during a loan spell with fellow Championship club Bristol City FC.
