Musa Benched In Leicester City’s Goalless Draw Against Southampton

By Augustine Akhilomen

Ahmed Musa was an unused substitute as Leicester City were
held to a 0-0 draw against Southampton at the Kings Power Stadium, in
Sunday’s Premier League match.
The Nigerian international has found life difficult in his
new club as manager, Claudio Raineri preferred the attacking pair of
Jamie Vardy and Islam Sliman.
Despite showing a glimpse of his attacking prowess when he
scored a brace in the Foxes’ 2-4 lose against Barcelona in a preseason
match, Musa has failed to command a regular shirt since his record
summer transfer from CSKA Moscow.
