Iheanacho Fails to Shine in Man City’s first EPL defeat

Super Eagles striker, Kelechi Iheanacho was on the losing
side as Manchester City unbeaten run was brought to an end in their 2-0
defeat against Tottenham at White Hart Lane, in the Premier League on
Sunday.
Iheanacho came on for Nolito in the 79th minute but could
not save the team from kissing the ugly head of defeat in what was
manager, Pep Guardiola’s first lose.
An own goal from Aleksandar Kolarov and Dele Alli was
enough to send Spurs to the second position on the EPL log, maintaining
their unbeaten record in the league.

Iheanacho who had a chance to reduce the scoreline in the
85th minute,failed to connect properly with a through pass despite
finding himself in Tottenham’s 18-yard box.
