Munir linked with a move to Tottenham

Spurs interested in signing Munir El Haddadi
FC Barcelona striker Munir El Haddadi has been linked with a move away from Camp Nou, and it has been reported that the player is waiting on a formal offer from English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspurs, according to Catalan publication SPORT.
Barcelona are in the market shopping for a ‘fourth striker’ despite having Munir in their team. The young goalscorer has finally decided that his future lies outside the doors of the Camp Nou and wants it resolved in the next few days. Munir knows he will have limited number of minutes at Barça after the arrival of the fourth striker and Neymar from his Olympic holidays and wants to find the best option that will suit him this summer.
According to SPORT, a host of Spanish clubs are interested in signing Munir, led by Valencia and Celta Vigo. Barça want Munir to be part of the deal to sign Alcacer but it now looks so difficult and it seems he will play elsewhere. He has many offers but is expecting a formal one from Tottenham who are strongly interested in signing him.
Barça know Munir has great potentials and don’t want him to go just like that. They want to include a buy-back option in his deal but Tottenham are not interested in that, the London club want to pay €15 million and sign him permanently without any clause tying him to the Catalan club.
Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is a big fan of Munir’s and he monitors FC Barcelona games but the only complication of the transfer is the club’s unwillingness to insert a buy-back option in his contract, something Barc won’t allow. Both clubs have had problems with Sandro in the past over the same situation.
The fact is, Barça are making a final push to sign Alcacer and it is said that if they fail in acquiring the Valencia striker, Luis Enrique will make do of Munir as the fourth striker. The player has already shown in preseason and past matches that he’s capable but Barça want him to play for a club that will guarantee him more playing time, hence, making him progress and mature as a player.
