Mikel Bags A Goal In Chelsea’s 8-0 Win Over Atus Ferlach

Super
Eagles midfielder, John Mikel Obi was on the score sheet as he captain Chelsea
to a 8-0 annihilation of a local Austrian team Atus Ferlach in a
behind-closed-doors friendly on Thursday.
The
match which wasn’t in the team’s preseason build ups was organised in order to
gear the players towards rediscovering their form and pace as a Loic Remy
grabbed a hat-trick after Michy Batshuayi and Pedro Rodrigues scored a double
each.
It
was Mikel’s first preseason goal under Chelsea coach, Antonio Conte and would
be hoping to hit the headlines with goals ahead of the new Premier League
season.
The
Blues will next face Liverpool on July 28 in a Guinness International
Championship slated for USA before confronting UEFA Champions League winner,
Real Madrid on July 30.
