“I
don’t think Samson Siasia should be complaining because it was clear when we
asked him to select players who he thinks will be available for the Games.
Besides, we told him to use players in the domestic league for now but must penciled
down players in the foreign legion that he’s sure their clubs will release them
for the Rio Olympic Games,” Green stated.

“Again
the NFF are not relaxing too much because we are also working round the clock
to ensure that clubs release some of these players for the games in Brazil. I
am happy to inform you that we have started to get green light on the
availability of the foreign pros and I am confident they will join the team
before the games.”
